Cesc Fabregas ma już 17 asyst i wykonał kolejny krok do pobicia rekordu Premier League. W 31. kolejce punktowali też inni zawodnicy z czołówki klasyfikacji kanadyjskiej.

W sobotnim pojedynku ze Stoke City (2:1) Hiszpan wywalczył dla Chelsea rzut karny, który wykorzystał Eden Hazard. Belg z kolei do gola także dołożył ostatnie podanie i w sumie ma już 22 oczka, tracąc tylko dwa do liderującego Sergio Aguero.

Podobnie jak błyskotliwy skrzydłowy The Blues, spisali się w minionej serii Alexis Sanchez i Charlie Austin. Oni również dorzucili do swego dorobku po jednej bramce i ostatnim podaniu.

Sporo zmian zaszło w czołówce klasyfikacji asystentów. Tam wciąż bezdyskusyjnym liderem pozostaje wspomniany wyżej Fabregas. Już 11 asyst ma jednak na koncie Angel di Maria (wypracował gola Wayne'a Rooneya w konfrontacji z Aston Villą), zaś 10 Hazard.

Swoje konto poprawili ponadto Gylfi Sigurdsson (ostatnie podanie przy golu Bafetimbiego Gomisa na 3:1 w meczu z Hull City) oraz Raheem Sterling (w spotkaniu z Arsenalem wywalczył rzut karny wykorzystany przez Jordana Hendersona). Obaj mają teraz po 9 asyst.
