Pies piłkarza Lucky Lucci odnalazł się po tym, jak do mediów społecznościowych trafiły zdjęcia czworonoga. Do dziennikarki Kimberly Cheng z telewizji KTLA zgłosiła się osoba, która wskazała miejsce, gdzie jest Lucky Lucci. Sturridge ze swoimi przyjaciółmi odebrał psa.
Wcześniej, tuż po kradzieży, piłkarz prosił złodziei, żeby nie sprzedawali psa, tylko mu go oddali. Oferował za to 30 tys. funtów (więcej TUTAJ).
29-letni Sturridge szuka nowego klubu. Po zakończeniu sezonu 2018/2019 odszedł z Liverpoolu. Wcześniej reprezentował barwy między innymi Chelsea, Manchesteru City i West Bromwich Albion. Tylko w Premier League rozegrał 218 spotkań, w których strzelił 77 goli.
