Manchester City przegrał derby z Manchesterem United (2:4), ale były napastnik Atletico Madryt ustrzelił dublet i teraz ma już 26 pkt., o trzy wyprzedzając Harry'ego Kane'a, Charliego Austina oraz Edena Hazarda.

Belgijski skrzydłowy Chelsea, który zdaniem Jose Mourinho bezsprzecznie zasłużył na tytuł Piłkarza Roku, tym razem wypracował zwycięskiego gola Cesca Fabregasa w pojedynku z Queens Park Rangers (1:0). Tym samym zapisał na swoim koncie 11. asystę, zaś Hiszpan zaliczył 3. trafienie w rozgrywkach.
