Sergio Aguero coraz wygodniej rozsiada się w fotelu lidera klasyfikacji kanadyjskiej Premier League. W sobotę Argentyńczyk dołożył do swojego dorobku gola i asystę.

Snajper mistrza Anglii otworzył wynik pojedynku z Newcastle United, wykorzystując już w 2. minucie rzut karny, wykonał też ostatnie podanie do Davida Silvy przy bramce na 5:0. Teraz ma już na koncie 23 pkt. i o cztery wyprzedza Diego Costę oraz Alexisa Sancheza.

Swoje statystyki poprawili podczas minionego weekendu także Charlie Austin (gol w starciu z Hull City), Harry Kane (skuteczna dobitka rzutu karnego w samej końcówce derbów z West Hamem) oraz Eden Hazard (asysta przy trafieniu Branislava Ivanovicia w konfrontacji z Burnley).

Przez długi okres żaden z zawodników goniących Cesca Fabregasa nie był w stanie przekroczyć bariery ośmiu ostatnich podań, ale w sobotę dokonali tego Angel di Maria, który obsłużył Andera Herrerę przy jedynej bramce dla Manchesteru United w Swansea, oraz wspomniany wyżej Hazard.
