Alexis Sanchez po długim czasie przestał być liderem klasyfikacji kanadyjskiej Premier League. Chilijczyka wyprzedził kapitalnie dysponowany Romelu Lukaku.

W niedzielnym meczu z Leicester City (4:2) Belg ustrzelił dublet, ma teraz 29 punktów i o jeden dystansuje gwiazdora Arsenalu, który tym razem nie poprawił dorobku, bo jego drużyna uległa w derbach Crystal Palace 0:3.

W 32. kolejce punktowali też inni zawodnicy z czołówki. Po jednym oczku zdobyli Diego Costa i Dele Alli, dwa natomiast - Zlatan Ibrahimović. Oni jednak będą musieli w najbliższym czasie przyspieszyć, bo choć mogą się pochwalić bardzo dobrymi liczbami, to ich strata do prowadzącej dwójki wciąż jest wyraźna.

Ciekawie robi się również w klasyfikacji asystentów. Przodownictwo zachował Kevin De Bruyne, który ma tuzin ostatnich podań. Powiększyła się natomiast grupa pościgowa, gdyż do Gylfiego Sigurdssona doskoczyli Christian Eriksen oraz Wilfried Zaha.
